I just today updated/edited a thread I contributed to on the 2/9/09...Favourite Cleanup Progs and websites...in this forum.
I notice that the issue is not brought to the fore....in other words brought into focus into today's postings? Am I being hasty or presumptuous....is it just a matter of being patient ?

Hello Mogs ,

By observation , editing you post does not alter the original time/date of posting , so the thread keeps it's position .

If you post a (new) reply , that should have your current posting time and thus move the thread to the front of the list :))

Take care
Anthony

Edit at 1801 , anyone still trailing the tread would (probably) get an "update" Email notifying them of your edit .

Evening Anthony !
Thanks for your reply. I thought that was the case: as you described: just wondered if it might be considered an improvement if updated issues were to be brought to the fore? Agreed tho', as you state, those who were interested in the first instance, would still get the follow-up.
