Hi, After reading about the many security problems with Adobe products. I would like to know if there is an alternative to the Adobe Flash Player? I have Adobe Flash Player 10.x 10.0.32.18 (General Plug-in) C:\Programmi\Opera\program\plugins\NPSWF32.dll Adobe Flash Player 10.x 10.0.32.18 (ActiveX) C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\Flash10c.ocx Adobe Flash Player 10.x 10.0.32.18 (General Plug-in) C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll Adobe Reader 9.x 9.2.0.124 This I have replaced with Foxit Reader. I am running Windows XP Pro Sp2 512MB RAM with Pent4 3Ghz I use the following browsers, MSIE 7, Firefox 3.5.4, Opera 10.01 Thanks in advance -- Never argue with Stupid People. The answer for Flash is basically no . Try Googling (or use your preferred search engine) "Adobe Flash Alternatives" and you will see that for yourself . The same applies to Shockwave . Other Adobe products do have alternatives , try your searches and then check user Forums . Take care Anthony PS: "security problems" should not be confused with "patching problems" ; your current Flash versions do not have any vulnerabilities that I know of , as of now. -- It always seems impossible until its done.
