I'm always asking for help here!
And you guys always come up with the solutions, often with explanations too - so thank you!

But when I post a thank you, I have first to write down the name of the person/people I'm thanking because the reply form doesn't show the other posts.

Is that the way this site is set up?

Hope this makes sense!

That is the way it is. I agree with U - the number of times I have to "flick back" to check details .......

I also agree on Norton 2010. The 2008 version was pure bloat & I migrated elsewhere. 2009 was a vast improvement & 2010 even better as regards speed & content.

I hope U are keeping up with Adobe. They have launched a new Concrete Lined Parachute with their Shockwave Player embedded. American Special Forces & the British SAS declined a test invitation despite assurances that a more rapid descent could save lives from ground sniper fire.

It is now available for Beta testing by the general public. All they require is an IMPACT statement once used.

:0), Maurice.
I have had absolutely no problems with my Adobe Reader since you and others here sorted it out for me. But I can't help a wry smile when I keep seeing others having the same problems.
Why don't Adobe take the hint?
Having discovered here Mozilla Firefox - that's been great (updated yesterday) I'm tempted to try Foxit Reader now. It'll be interesting see how many documents it will/won't let me read!
Final quickie - I haven't got Beta. Should I? I'll look later for other threads on this.
Thanks again

Hello Taffy ,

You can open two tabs for the same thread in Firefox and read in one and reply in the other ; you can "drag and drop" any link from the left menu to the tab bar and so open others threads to refrerence at the same time.

A Mozilla Add-on called "CoolPreviews" will do the same and much more , great if you are doing any research or just what to check on a page , link , etc. before you go to it.

Hope this helps.
Anthony
