Although I have applied the latest patch to Acrobat 7 Standard, to bring it from 7.1.3 to 7.1.4, Secunia still reports it as insecure at Ver. 7.o.8.218.
The acrobat.exe version in the Properties tab is reported as 7.0.8.218, and that is probably the file that Secunia examines.
.........
Extra Information from Secunia
This update requires that Acrobat 7.1.3 is installed on your system.
Users with version 7.1.2 should first install 7.1.3 before proceeding with this update to version 7.1.4
If you have version 7.1.3 installed, download and install the incremental patch.
........end of info
However, if you check the Properties tab of "AcrobatInfo.exe", the version reported is 7.1.4.748 on the main tab.
If you check the File Version, it is 7.1.4.2009100200.
After applying the latest patch, ONLY the "AcrobatInfo.exe" date stamp changes, not the acrobat.exe file.
In the "ABOUT Acrobat 7.0 Standard" tab, the version is reported as 7.1.4 after the update patch has been applied.
