On 11/3/09, I updated (online purchase) my CA-ISS from 2009Plus (5 user) to 2010Plus (3 user) on my Toshiba laptop running XP Media Center/SP3. Discovered that a newspaper site I use weekly doesn't work properly in Firefox (works in IE, which I hate). Online chat today with CA resulted in Tech Support telling me that their 2010Plus program only worked with IE, and they were working on the issues with Firefox; promised me no date for "fix." (I had downloaded CA's firewall, anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spyware and Website Inspector. Did not install Parental Controls and Backup-Miigration.) Does anyone else out there use CA's 2010Plus security suite, and do you have a Firefox (v.3.5.5) incompatibility? Their 2009Plus Suite used to work with Firefox v.3.5.4. Could I have a CA configuration issue that somebody out there knows how to fix, or does Firefox 3.5.5 have a problem? Thanks! (JL Krol, USA) |

Put it this way
CA9 is still not compatible with many programs and never will. They are forcing you to take CA10 which is also not compatible with many things. If you have a look at the CA Forum CA10 topics you see what am referring to.
I am running CA9 I cannot update to W7 or upgrade my Internet Explorer and never will as long as I am using CA9.
I can assure you that you are not alone and that is possibly why many long term users of VET now CA are looking else where.
I suggest you go back to the forum to get the contact addresses to get a refund.

I appreciate your response to the above matter. Have several questions: 1) Can I revert back to CA ISS 2009Plus-5 users, because CA uninstalled the program in order to install 2010Plus-3 users that had a new license? If I CAN revert to 2009Plus, CA will have to reinstall it for me. Therefore, 2) Where do I find the CA forum so that I can get my money back for 2010Plus? Thanks for you response in advance. (JL Krol, USA; Toshiba laptop running XP Media Center/SP3). |

Here is the CA forum site and ask exactly the same question using the same name as here and use Sec as the first three letters
Some one there will give you a complete list of all the contacts you will require.
Please put your Country other wise you will end up with a world wide list.
If you get no satisfaction explain every thing politely at the forum and it will be fixed up for you.
When you contact CA take note of day time and who you spoke to plus all the info you were given.
