PSI shows me the following programs as insecure 2003 versions:

Access, Excel, InfoPath, Office Publisher, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and
Microsoft Access Snapshot Viewer.

Installed is Microsoft Office Student 2007.

Hi Jamich;

Did you recently replace Office 2003 with 2007? If you do backups on a partiton of your hard drive or another hard drive on your machine, PSI may be detecting the backup. In that case, you can create an ignore rule for that drive. If this is not the case, post back here with the file path to the insecure programs.

Office 2003 was never installed on this pc. If it had been, my first attempt for a solution would have been to look for residues. But now I'm clueless.

But now PowerPointViewer 2007 is also falsely detected, which has never been installed, too.

Hi
PowerPoint Viewer is included in the Office package, so if you have the Student version, it's definitely there.

Try to look at the Path for the detected program provided by the PSI.

Enable ADVANCED mode in PSI then select Insecure then Insecure Programs then look in the infected Folder for suspect file.

You may have to include that Folder or file in the Ignore area.
