Hi,
Secunia give me two patches for topic above. Both are .zip files and I don't understand how I can install them. There is no file .exe or setup. Thanks for your help.
Excuse me for my bad english but I'm French.

Things should not be so complicated. Your English is much better than my French....trust me. You may try the following:
Download and save the zip file
Extract all from the zip file
In the extracted folder....
Locate the file libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll in the bin folder
Mark and copy this file
Navigate to C:\Program Files\EASEUS\EASEUS Partition Master 4.1.1 Home Edition\bin
right click and paste
reply yes to replace the file
This should remove the insecure detection from Secunia.
I have tried running Easeus and so far have not detected any errors.
Gary

@nfm83400 ,

Please excuse my intrusion , but this thread seems to indicate that the GTK+ problem applies to many programmes as well as those of Easeus

http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/226...

You will need to give Gary the name and path of your programme (indicated by PSI) to see if his method will help you .

Take care
Anthony

Thanks Anthony for your "intrusion". In fact, the path is c:\Program files (X86)\GIMP 2.6.8.\....
Since my last post, I went to GIMP site and downloaded the last version. Then, Secunia still told me I was insecured.
Following the path I wrote above, I found in the folder GIMP 2.6.8. several "under-folders" as bin, etc, lib, ...
When I read the Secunia solution, I see several folders named as the precedent ones. What I don't know is : do I replace the ones which are on my computer by them given by Secunia or do I add to the ones on my computer those given by Secunia ?
I expect I've been clear, else I'll try to explain with another way.
Thanks to Anthony and Garry for their answers

I am sorry. I did not consider that you may have been using another product. Navigate to the "Installation Path" that is shown on the Secunia screen. I only replaced the one module specified and it seemed to work ok. When I tried to replace all of the folders I received an error during program start up. Best of luck.

@nfm83400 ,

I suggest you go to thread in the link I gave in my previous post and read te two posts from "metaed" dated 21/DEC/2009at 1800 and 1813 (French time) - the second includes a link to a "bugzilla" chat/forum .***

The résumé seems to be that the problem Secunia is reporting is insignificant or non-existent (in your case) and that you may be best advised to live with whatever minor risk and wait for Gimp to provide the correction/update .

As a new poster to the forum ; here are some basic tips for using PSI :-

To help resolve your problem , here are some instructions to help you first of all get the best out of PSI :-

1)use PSI in "advanced" mode ;
2)in the "settings" tab make sure that the box in the first/upper section is NOT ticked in order to have the maximum info available ;
3)tell us in which "tab(s)" your problem programme is located ;
4)in that tab , click on the + in the box at the left end of the programme , the page will expand ;
5)in the expanded page , tell us what is written in the "installation path" ;
6)in the "toolbox" section , lower down , the link "technical details" should confirm the installation path details ;
7)click on the link "open folder" and you will see more details concerning the location of the "problem" .

Posting these details will help the Forum help you , if/when you have a problem .

Your English is very , very good and is the language of the forum and will ensure you get the best help ; I live in the Languedoc so can help in French (only in an emergency) ; I'm guessing we are nearly neighbours :))

Take care
Anthony

Edit *** : Also read "stardance" posting of 25th Dec .

My best wishes for 2010.
I still try to repair GTK+ 2.x.
For your information, I write from Hyeres. Not too far from Languedoc.
Best regards.

Mes meilleurs voeux pour une Bonne Année.

I have visited Hyères a few times (your name gave you away), I'm from 30220 .

My understanding of the Gimp problem is that it probably is not one , hope you succeed anyway.

Bonne chance
Anthony
