MS Office Groove 2007, MS Office Powerpoint Viewer 2007, MS Visio 2007 Viewer and XP Pro all show as security threats every time I start my computer. I've repeatedly gone to the MS Update site and MS scans my computer and finds no problems. Do I have security threats?
Any help at all is much appreciated.
TIA

The important thing is where Secunia has found the vulnerabilities. What are the paths?

FINDING A VULNERABILITY FILE PATH
=================================

To locate the exact file that the Secunia PSI has detected, use or switch to the ADVANCED interface, then :

1 Click on the + sign of the programme to "expand' it.
2 Click on Technical Details in the Toolbox to see the installation path of the detected file. (Copy (CTRL+C) & paste (CTRL+V) the Installation Path of the file back to the Forum if U are unsure what to do next)).

Hello.
If you switch Secunia to the Advanced interface, you will gain more information. If you click on the + sign alongside any entry/prog. which is found under the Insecure or End of Life tab, it will expand to reveal Tech. Details/File Path, so on and so forth. You will also find assistance with direct links to patching/updating same.
It may be that although no updates are available thro' the usual channels; or that you have current versions; Secunia may still be detecting older files/versions left behind/not removed.
Best work your way thro' it, one prog. at a time....any difficulties...report back to the forum with the info you access; when someone will be sure to be of further help.
