Hi, When posting to a forum, it makes a quick fix more likely if you post a lot of info about your problem. Specifically, we'd need: Your Windows distribution (XP, Vista, 7 etc.) and service pack level What you've done, what steps you undertook to fix the problem. This allows support staff - and our flock of frequent posters - to get to the root of the problem faster. A few questions: Did you try removing the software through Add/Remove Programs in the control panel? What is the "file path" to the insecure file? You can get this "file path" by setting the PSI to advanced mode (by clicking "Advanced" in the top right corner), then navigating to the "Insecure" tab, and clicking the "+" button near the software entry. You need to past the field labeled "Installation Path" to the forum. Did you try updating the program by clicking the "solution" button in the PSI, or by other means? If you tried by other means, please try clicking the solution button. Is there more than one entry for any of the programs after you installed the upgrade? Potentially one under secure, and one under insecure (or End-Of-Life)? Hope this helps. |

Hi. Thank You very much for responding on My request! Next time I ask for help I´ll be more informative about My Hard-and Soft- ware specifications and configuration. The same about what I have done, executed on the System. The mentioned problem has been overcomed by uninstalling the actual OpenOffice program. Then downloading the newest stable (Ooo3.1) edition of the program and the problem was gone :-). Close this thread. Best regards, Ole Sørensen. |

Hello Ole , You are using your email address as your "screen" name , this is a quick way to spam hell in an open Forum like this . You can pick a pseudo using the the "secunia profile" tab in PSI . Take care Anthony -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |

Hey. Back again and have experienced that it seems to that My " Screen " name in My former inlay in this thread has been alternated to be of a more anonnymos character. Thats good and satisfying :-) So I end this Thread here and say thankyou to all who have contributed in the thread. Best Regards, Ole. |
