Sometimes I get a warning for HEUR/HTML from Avira Premium Security Suite and sometimes the site is blocked because of a security threat. I forward thosse problems to Avira Labs in Germany and they update their checks. -- PC: JJ Computer Services Intel Core I3 2100 3.1Ghz DDR3 Kingston ValueRam 4GB 1333 Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits SP1 Secunia PSI 3.0 v. 3.0.0.6005 Internet Explorer 9 Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1NL Laptop: MSI GT780DX Intel Core I5-2450 DDR3 RAM 6GB Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits SP1 Secunia PSI 3.0 v. 3.0.0.6005 Internet Explorer 10 Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1NL |

For years I have been using "jv16 Power Tools" by Macecraft - presently the 2009, version: 1.9.1.606 (Platinum VIP) Granted this is a program one has to buy, but only once for most/if not all 'updates' are free-have not encountered another buy. Though not a guru, and perhaps not understanding all about this program, as others do, it's the best for the OS's I use (presently Win XP Pro, its also comparable for Win-7. 'jv 16' offers in addition to Registry Tools, File, System, and Privacy Tools, again not making changes without making a backup first, if something goes awry, we have a way to back out of it. The best thing I enjoy is 'jv 16' does nothing, nor changes any thing without first asking if you want to make a 'backUp' first (I believe I said this already - Oh well, who's perfect.) and most of the time even if checking the NO block, it will make the 'backup' anyway. Not sure if Macecraft has a free 'jv 16' program. Not meaning to say they don't, I'm just not sure ifthey do. 'jv 16' continues to be recommended by Fred Langa, now with Brian Livingston's Windows Secrets. Hope this has been of assistance. ERBY -- mental health advocate |
