Today Secunia PSI declared my Google Chrome browser as an end-of-life product. What's that BS supposed to mean? Did Microsoft or Apple buy this company or what?

And that's not the first time, the Secunia PSI declares some abstruse "opinions". I already silenced a few similar ones using specific rules...

Hi Michael

My guess is that you have Chrome 3.x installed and that the PSI marks it as End of Life.

This is true since Google has moved on to Chrome 4.x instead.

The solution would be to install the newest version of Google Chrome 4.x

Please note that Chrome sometimes leave some old files behind.

Hello Michael ,

In my personal experience , Secunia PSI offers factual data on potential security vulnerabilities and possible solutions available .

You decide what you do with that information . If you find things "abstruse" then post your darkness here on the Forum and someone , just like the kindly M.Hansen , may be able to shed some light .

Take care
Anthony

Does abstruse have anything to
do with not being able to see the
forest for the trees?

I thought the PSI dealt only with facts, not opinions-if
only directions & statements of proper use were
read first.

Hello wr ,

Maybe that would be "spruce abstruse" .
