Hello Bruce , Perhps you could translate tis back into Danske for Bjarke ;- There is one long running vulnerability in IE which M$ does not ever seem likely to patch !! The latest risk is detailed here :- http://secunia.com/advisories/38416/2/ M$ may patch it tomorrow (Tuesday) as there are a huge number of patches due . No browser is 100% secure ; I personally only ever use IE for M$ updates and use Firefox (default) and Chrome : I also run them in a sandbox (to be extra safe) . Hello Bjarke , The Danes own the place and put a big red sign over their name when they post ere . They set the rules and post in English , if , when they have time ; they state (somewhere) tat English is the officail langueage of the Forum and you (normally)get a quicker response . If you get a reply from them in Danske , you have arrived :)) Your English is very good , so don't worry ; if someone can't understand you they can always ask for clarification :) . Hello Anthony. My problem is not to understand English, but to write in teknical terms and words:-) it is not that kind of English we learned in school, you know. Are you from South Africa? I´we used to live in Malawi for 18 month in 1998 to 2000. I was working with water drilling in a Comnunity called Mikolongwe, not far from Blantyre. Africas Warm Hart, beutyfull but so poor. Hello L.K. Ian "Gizmo" Richards explains sandboxing , amongst other things , in some detail here :- http://www.techsupportalert.com/how-to-secure-your... I use Sanboxie (even tho' I never use IE , other than on patch Tuesday :(( for Firefox and Chrome , but things like downloading are complicated in a sandbox and in general is not for everybody ; now I know it , it gives be great freedom . Hi Bjarke , I try to be as non technical as possible ; you can also switch language between Danish and English in PSI settings to check details and ask for reater explanation in non techy terms for what you don't understand . Actually ,I'm British but have lived and worked all over the world and spent a lot of time in won derfully warm Africa , including South Africa ; I have fought against racial discrimination all my life , but there is still a huge amount to do . | Hi, Dansk er vores andet "understottede" sprog, eg. vi svarer paa support-mails paa Dansk. Vores forum's sprog er dog primaert Engelsk, og de fleste af vores sodvanelige brugere kan kun Engelsk. (Translated from above) Danish is our second "support language, eg. we reply to support-mails in English. Our primary forum language is English, though, and most of our regular posters (you know who you are ;) write in English. Hope this helps. |
