I have been subscribed by default on a specific thread after having replied on one. All subsequent responses on that thread are therefore sent to me by e-mail. I am finished with this thread and want to unsubscribe. When I open the link to the unssubscribition given in the e-mail I cannot find anywhere to do this action. Would appreciate any help.

Just above the red bar at the start of each thread should be the following:

"Subscription
You are subscribing to this thread. If you want to unsubscribe, please click here"

This is true (and default setting) of any thread that you have started, or replyed to.

Alternatively, at the bottom of the dialogue box where you type, is a check box, as follows:

"Subscribe to this thread."

You can check/uncheck at time of posting.

Thanks TiMow. Am I blind or what I wonder ? The txt that"should be" just above the red line in a subscribed thread isnīt there. F.ex. this present thread has the following txt.: This thread was submitted in the following forum: PSI. That s all. Nothing about "click here". Is there an explenation to this phenomenon ?

FWIW , I can confirm that (being logged-in) at the top of this thread , before I clicked "reply " was "subscrition " message showing me NOT suscribing ; I would guess that I will be shown as subscribing after I post this , as the box below where i am typing is ticked (in green) for me to subscibe .

Canyou post a screen shot via a web album url of what you see when you select your thread - logged-in ??

EDIT: can confirm that I am shown as subscribing.

OK Rolf - strange!

What I`m looking at now is:

"This thread was submitted in the following forum:
PSI

Subscription
You are subscribing to this thread. If you want to unsubscribe, please click here"

Then here is the red bar!

There seems to be various gliches to Secunias web pages since their recent revision with many suffering from abnormalities.

Alternatively- are you properly logged in - see l.h.s., grey box - it may be if you`re not, you don`t have all priveliges.

As a last resort you may have to do a few "test" replies and uncheck the check box at the bottom of page

Hi Rolf

I appreciate your gratitude - just not sure if it was down to me, or just luck.

I don`t know how you normally access the forum, but what I would recommend to you and anyone else reading is the following:

If you`re properly logged on and see eveything you should be seeing with all posting priveleges - then do what I do, and I think Anthony as well, -- bookmark that page!

I`ve done it with the forum Home/start page and its on my bookmark toolbar for easy access.

I never have to worry about any gliches there may be re. logging in (`til now at least).
