I have two copies of MPlayer for Windows on my computer, and both are marked as 'end-of-life' by Secunia PSI. One is in Program Files\MPlayer for Windows, and the other is part of the get_iPlayer installation. Both seem to be up-to-date versions of the program, so I'm not sure why they are 'end-of-life'. When I go to the MPlayer website (http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html) there seems to be a confusing variety of possible downloads, some official and some unofficial. All I want is a binary for Windows that PSI is happy with. Can anyone advise me which is the best version to download and install? Thanks for your help, PhilG |

I'm sorry - I accessed the forum via the link in PSI, which set up a search for "MPlayer 0.x end-of-life" that gave no results. It didn't occur to me to search again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! PhilG |
