Do some one know how to remove the old PhotoUploader and ImageUploader ?

I have installed the new one by using Facebook, but still the old one is not removed (in fact ir is 2 programs)

If I opend the map, it isnt posible to remove anything in this map, and the imageuploader is not visible.

Hi, Olaf. I've had (possibly) the same problem. Take a look at this thread to see if it is the same:

Try opening a command prompt AS ADMINISTRATOR. Change directory to the file location. Delete the file using the DEL command.

E.g.:
C:\> cd\windows\downloaded program files\
C:\> del photouploader5.ocx

To open a command prompt as administrator, right-click on the Command Prompt icon in the Accessories folder (Start -> Program Files -> Accessories -> Command Prompt) and choose 'Run as administrator'. (Note: My OS is Vista, so I've written this assuming the same for you.)

Sorry this didn't work for you. My reply was how I solved the problem on my computer. A rescan of my computer confirmed that the issue was resolved.

Use "Disk Cleanup" in Windows making sure to check the box next to "Downloaded Program Files", this will remove the "Facebook Photo Uploader 5 Control", rerun SPSI and you'll find the alert is gone.

Hope this helps.

Now the older uploader are histori. I cleaned up the disk, that removed one of the 2 files. Then I saw, that Secunia has add more information. On Vista it is nessecerry to run the DOS command as administrator. I didnt know that "trick".
Now it was posible to delete the other one.

Just a quick comment to say thanks, this worked fine and removed the uploader without using the command line. Excellent.
