Adobe Acrobat 9.3.1 update is installed and verified in the "about" dropdown of the "help" menu. Yet Secunia PSI still says that I have an unpatched threat because "Acrobat.dll" is still version 9.3.0.148.
What's going on?
Vic

Hi Vic;

Adobe is notorious for leaving behind junk. They have not got the update thing down at all.

Can you go to the outdated .dll and remove it or change the file extension? If not, post back here and I'll help you.

Hi Fred,

Thanks for the reply. I renamed "Acrobat.dll" and the program wouldn't open.
So I reran the update and it installed the same version of the .dll that I had just renamed. Secunia again reports the .dll as insecure.
I'm begining to think the problem is with Secunia.

Hi Anthony,

I'm glad there's guys like you and Fred out there!
I followed the link you gave and found that Secunia has corrected the glitch.
I downloaded and installed the latest version of PSI.
Now I get a 100% clean bill of health.
Thanks again,

Vic
