The scan needs an option to ignore certain folders. Anyone who has a folder for a diagnostic boot disk such as UBCD will get dozens of programs flagged as insecure but these programs are not running on the computer being scanned.

I found the Ignore Rules section at the bottom of the Settings page. It was below the screen so I did not see it initially.

it would be nice if it had a windows browser built in so that the path of folders could be searched.

Also, under patched tab, if you click on "+" on l.h.s. to expand, you will find the toolbox. One of the icons / options is "Ignore Program".

You can also use this for individual programs, provided they are found in this list.

There is also an open folder icon to take you into Widows explore, in answer to your last point.
