I found something I'm not sure about, I've sent off a message to Microsoft to get an answer to this.

Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) 4.X "is not secure." I've been on their site then realized I could come here and maybe find an answer...

Thanks Guys!

Hi Hogndog;

Here's a link to a thread on the subject for Win 7: http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/309...

And a link to look at if you had Sophos Anti Virus or Internet Security on your computer and are still having problems: http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/257...

Maurice Joyce gives much useful information.

If this doesn't help, try the search feature on 'All Threads' page.

I can't make my computer work when attempting to make it work, 13 tries mate, this morning I tried a work around of my owned, its like pin the tail on the Donkey. I'll keep you posted even Microsoft had some ideas, problem "SP 3". Tried Sophos, same thing "nope"

Well Fred it appears Microsoft won't or can't fix this unless I download SP3, not the Sophos thing I'v addressed that. Its this Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) 4.x I'm wondering if this is a FP on Secunias part but I doubt it....

Thanks mate, back to Microsoft/

Hi again Fred problem solved, it took a while but all is secure.. I had to use the tools Microsoft sent me only this time I put them into practice. No installation of SP3 it was a "Patch" for SP3

Thank God....

Well I suppose I left you alone long enough to solve your own problem. :) Can't take credit for this one, eh?

Very glad to hear all is well.

Don't be bashful, if you need help on another hiccup, start another thread. Feel free to look around on the forum. You might be the next hero to help make someones day!

BTW, like your signature line.

Thanks Fred, my computer tech said the one thing he shouldn't have, "If you don't know what your doing don't click on it" I've gotten out of jams lots of times, self taught for 4 years, saved a bunch of dough that way..

Thanks mate,

Hogndog
