We just deployed the CSI4 with WSUS beta yesterday. I did an agentless scan of one Windows 7 PC. The scan showed Adobe Flash needed a patch. We downloaded, created and deployed the patch to the PC. We now see 'Downloaded' in the patch status; however it has remained 'downloaded' for the past 12+ hours. We don't see the update on the PC. Does anyone know what the problem is? |

Hello asmith, Thanks for you feedback! The Secunia CSI4 integrates with your exiting WSUS server enabling the deployment of 3rd party updates, meaning that the existent settings on your environment related with how frequently the client systems check for updates will not be changed. I suggest you login into the machines for which you have approved the created updated and force the windows update agent to check for updates against the WSUS server. You can do this by opening a command prompt window and typing the following command: wuauclt /detectnow Depending on the settings of your environment you may see the windows update notification with the new available update. Let us know the outcome of this. Thanks! /Luis Stay Secure Secunia |
