As a result of having to change my username at the time of the Secunia makeover...(having forgotten my old password under the username of Mogs ): I havn't found it possible to carry over my previous, user since/ post history/location/score. Is it possible that you may be able to reconcile your records of Mogs/mogsi that my profile may be a more accurate representation? Thanking you in presumption of your consideration.
In all other matters I am very pleased with the recent changes and enjoying the new site.

Hi mogsi

Have you tried logging in under your old user name of mogs.

Under the grey login box (l.h.s.) is written "Forgot Password". Click on this and Secunia can automatically send you this to the e-mail address they have for you on file. (if you haven`t already tried).

It worked for me.

Regards

TiMow

EDIT: A slight inaccuracy - they send a link address to reset the password - i.e. a new one for your old user name -- I think?

Thanks for your reply/interest TiMow.
From memory, I think I did try your suggestion at the time of the "great makeover"; but was "cajoled" to change to a five-character username. Now, having gotten used to it, I don't really want to switch back yet again, and possibly lose my present status/post history in the process. I am hoping that Secunia will be able to reconcile the situation for me.....have to wait n' see.
I notice your location is CH.....whereabouts eludes me....could you expand for me ? Thanks.

Hi mogsi

I hope they can sort it out for you - as a lot of user history is tied up with "mogs".

CH is for Confoederatio Helvetica - which is the official name for Switzerland (but I`m British).

Hi,

If you've forgotten your password, you can reset the password of your old Mogs account via. this link:

Hope this helps.

Thankyou TiMow.....having thought the matter thro' again...and now had sight of the Secunia reply.....on balance, I think you are probably right, and I will try what you suggest. It is, afterall, almost a year since I began with the forum as Mogs.
I'd never have associated CH with Switzerland....had a school holiday there once: was aware of Helvetia, but not the preceding part of it's title. As your username does have a kind of an Asian ring......I was inclined towards assuming the impossibility of China !! What a wonderful place for you to dwell.....thankyou for the explaination. Best wishes.

Thankyou for the reply.
It wasn't quite what I had been hoping for.....but as you can see from other posts in the thread, I have managed to reconcile myself to switching back. Will do as you suggest, and avoid any contention.
