It would help if you were to state the version that you have updated to. The more information the better. Chrome does not always remove the older file/version....it is that, in all probability, that Secunia is still detecting. As you have been a user for quite a while I'd have thought you might already be familiar with the procedure. Are you using Secunia with the Advanced interface? Regards

Hi topzdk

When Chrome is updated, a new file is created, still leaving the old insecure file for PSI to find and report.

As of the end of last week, the latest version is 4.1.249.1036 (stable). Previous version, 4.0.249.89 (stable) is now insecure and will need to be removed.

If not already using Advanced mode, click "Advanced" in top right of PSI page.

Under the Insecure tab, you should click on "[+]" on left side to expand (you can also do this under Patched tab).

This will show Toolbox icons - click on Open Folder to take you to the location of the old Chrome file.

Click to highlight the old version, right click, then delete.

Now re-boot and re-scan PSI.
