Hi. I've just returned from two weeks of sun on the Algarve and wanted to share some news***. But the thread (http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/334...)
is now locked. Is it for technical reasons (e.g. too big) or does Secunia want to discourage a relaxed place for non-technical stuff?

*** I was in a bar in Montechoro when four fonts walked in.
The barman said "Oi - get out! We don't want your type in here."

Last edited on 24th Mar, 2010 12:57 Hi,

It the thread in question was automatically locked, because there had been no replies for a substantial amount of time. We in no way want to discourage discussion or chatter, and the thread has now been unlocked. Reading the forum wouldn't be as much fun anyway if it was all strictly on-topic. ;)

If anyone thinks a thread has been preemptively closed, just email us at support@secunia.com and we'll unlock it.

hope this helps.

Hello taffy !! You missed some decent weather over here !!! Thought you'd flippin' emigrated.....the draw may have been the golf or an autograph from Sir Cliff ?! Anyrate, mustn't choke up another thread with idle banter...."see" you tomorrow if "the thread" gets unlocked. Havn't heard anything from Chicago for ages!!!

Thank you very much Emil....BTW....do you know much of Odensa ? Hans birthplace?! I don't use Google Earth much, but I can't seem to find the barracks I was billetted in many years ago...........not that I remember any street names...and obviously buildings have come and gone....all I can really remember is that if turning right out of the gate it led to the airport !!! But there can't have been too many military establishments ? It was about this time of year...very cold...we'd exchanged places with some of your countrymen....they had a couple of months in Devon/England.....some must have had a story to tell ? I wonder if they felt inhibited by the different culture ? I'm rambling on....enough for now...best wishes
