Hello Mogs and Morten Hansen ,

Mogs' recent thread has been locked , but the following info may clear things up a little more :-

I can confirm that on my PC I have in my C:\Program Files\Auslogics\ ...folder the following :-

1) ...\Auslogics Registry Cleaner\regCleaner.exe version 1.5.12.165 and this is shown by PSI

2)...\Auslogics Disk Defrag\DiskDefrag.exe version 3.1.3.100 and this is not shown by PSI

3)...\Auslogics Disk Defrag Screensaver\unins000.exe version 51.50.0.0 (the only available file) also not showing ; programme version 1.1.1.50 is not mentioned .

4) the uninstall .exe files of 1) and 2) are numbered 51.49.0.0 and 51.51.0.0.

When I downloaded "Screensaver" (yesterday) and ran the installer , it default selected the Auslogics folder and ran immediately, setting itself in and opening the Desktop/Properties/Screensaver window . I assume it uses the version of Disk Defrag I have installed . Mogs does not refer to a version of Disk Defrag .

As I remember , the original Auslogics Disk Defrag was free and stand alone (and , of course , still is:)) ; it was some time before it was incorporated in BoostSpeed (version 4.x I think) ; other products were free but became pay for soon after being picked up by BootSpeed .

BTW , the latest version does not appear to do a BTD as such , but does a good job on MFT and Paging Files when set to Optimise" and "move system files" . You can also launch CHKDSK .

Hope this helps .

Anthony

Hi Anthony

Actually it seems that the screensaver runs just fine by itself.

Unfortunately we can't add it to the database due to lack of file information.

I can see that Auslogics Disk Defrag 3.x is in the database and should be detected.

Could i ask you to send us a software suggestion for the DiskDefrag.exe?

Thank you.

We've received a software suggestion on Auslogics Disk Defrag 3.x and I've corrected our rule.

The PSI should pick it up now.

Hello Morten ,

PSI has picked up Disk Defrag correctly on my PC ; thank you for your superfast reaction :)

As far as I understand , the Auslogics "screensaver" shows the real time activity of the defragmentation software , which , I am guessing , would have to be an istalled version of their own Disk Defrag . If so , perhaps Mogs will be able to see that now .

Take care
Anthony
