PSI is evidently its own worst critic. This morning I noticed the following mystifying comments on the PSI overview page.

"Your Secunia System Score of 100% is 4% HIGHER than the average user from Texas, United States.

"Compared to users WITHOUT the Secunia PSI installed, your Secunia System Score is 85% WORSE - install patches now!"

Up to now, my system's score was always BETTER than the score of systems without PSI, and that made sense. Now how my system's perfect score can be 85% WORSE than the average score of systems without PSI, I cannot imagine. ;-)

Hi metaed

This is a known bug with PSI, and has been reported on a few occasions before - although I thought they had it fixed.

Obviously the figures are "a*** about face" and should read something like:

"Compared to users WITHOUT the Secunia PSI installed, your Secunia System Score is 15% HIGHER (more secure)."

- meaning, without PSI, the average user is 85% secure.

Until Secunia are back in the office tomorrow a.m. (CET), you'll have to live with it.
Hopefully, they'll pick up your thread, and act on fixing the bug (again).
