Hi there.
After scanning with PSI ,the main window of the program shows me the following:
Your secunia system score of 100% is 7% higher than the average user from Beirut, Lebanon.
Compared to users without the secunia PSI installed, your secunia system score is 85% worth-Install patches now!

Can someone explain that confusion ?
Thanks

Hello gijean or gjjean. It's not showing very clearly here.
Regarding your post:-
As far as I'm aware; it is a known bug, and has already been reported.....no consolation; nor much of a comfort....but you can't really be very sore ?
As much info as you can, is always helpful for any future posts....best wishes,

Hello Mogs
Thank you for your consolation but after thinking maybe someone in Secunia
can help to fix this so called bug.
What i think @ secunia they have to reverse the order of calculation in their system because if i'm @100% secure and my score is 7% higher than the average user in my country then i should be 15% more secure than a user
with no PSI installed in his or her machine ,maybe that is why PSI flag me with
85% worth score.

Thank you

Hi again gjjean ( it's clearer in the Last Reply column !).
Secunia officials/members do read these posts/threads: no doubt, if there's any progress to report regarding the bug.....you may see a report early in the morning.....very dedicated staff, from my experience.
Glad to see that you included more ref. in your signature box.....how about score/location etc., on the left hand side ? Regards,

@ Mogs
For the location it's in place (LB) meaning Lebanon
But for the score i have added-it to show in my profile.
And if you want to see a screenshot of my complaint go to:

Thank you.

Hi,

Yes, we are aware of this bug. However, it's very low priority, and current development works on finishing the CSI 4.x releases/patches. The PSI 2.x process should open all PSI bug reports for reconsideration.

hope this helps.

Morning John.
Had a look at your screenshot.....I'm sure I'd be unhappy too if presented with a similar veiw......hope I havn't seemed glib with regard to the matter, and that having received communication from Secunia, you at least feel your issue is being dealt with.
Your system score is not yet appearing....LB is.
Have a good day.....
Regards,

Hi All
@Emil
I understand your position @ Secunia and this morning the results shows at
what should be, meaning that my score now is 15% higher than the once
without PSI.But with the other matter which is my score @ the forum, even i
place a chek mark in the box yesterday, still not showing. Maybe with a little help from your organization it will.

@ Mogs
Thank for your suggestions and the help.

See you soon

@gjjean
Hi,
Are you using the same account you log into the PSI with to post here? Is your PSI registered to your user account?

Hi Emile
Yes I'm using my registered account and i have posted a link to a screenshot of my status page where you can clearly see my registered name. I do enter the forum from the interface of PSI.
I don't know why my score isn't appearing in the forum.
If you want i can take another shot of my status .

Thanks for triying to help me with other members on this forum.

Hi,

I wasn't referring to launching the forum from the PSI - that, in itself, is irrelevant.
Check the "profile" tab in the PSI. This tab should show you as logged in, and it should be the same account you use here on the forum. This is how we tie your system score to your forum profile (as just logging in doesn't tell us anything about your setup!).

In case you don't know , Secunia don't (normally) work on PSI on the weekend , so Emil will only be back on Monday .

Take care
Anthony

Hi all
@ Emile
On 16/04/2010 evening i have taken a screenshot to my profile in PSI interface but i have forgotten that Secunia staff takes off the weekends.
You tell me that you tie my score with the same registration name from PSI to get my score, so if you can tie what is above so why the score won’t appear if my name does and the screenshots show’s you that?

Thanks for your consistent help

Hi,

If the profile tab now shows you as "registered" you should be able to display your system score.
Please check http://secunia.com/community/profile/
Is "Show my system score" enabled?

Last edited on 19th Apr, 2010 13:21 Hi,

This is apparently a bug, caused by registering on the forum before registering with the PSI. It has been reported to our developers. In the mean time, a functional workaround seems to be to register a new profile from the PSI, and then subsequently logging in to the forum with that profile. Your system score should then carry.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and hope this helps.

-------------------------
UPDATE: Fixed.
It should now work, you score now shows.
