After being warned by PSI to an insecure 3.6.2 version, have updated Firefox and file now clearly shows 3.6.3. as the version being run, but PSI still identifies it as version 3.6.2. Have checked the path and there is no doubt that PSI is checking the correct file, but it is simply not identifying the version correctly.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

Hi ruirib_m750

There have been a few irregularities recently, reported here on the forum, involving different programs - insecurities being reported by PSI when the latest version is installed; incorrect version numbers being reported; some programs not being picked up after updating.

The solution to some (unfortunately, not all) of these issues was relatively simple to apply - uninstall PSI from add/remove and then re-install.

As an established user, I would guess that you may still have v.1.5.0.0. installed - by doing the above and installing v.1.5.0.1. could well resolve how PSI is reporting your Ff.

Even if you have the latest PSI version, it is still worth trying un- and re- install, as this may reset the scanner (from what I remember reading before).

If you follow this course, you may have to reboot and re-scan.

If this doesn't work, then you haven't really lost or affected anything, and more investigation and further input will be required.

Thank you for your reply. That solved the problem.
