Relating to this vendor: OpenOffice.org |
And, this specific program: OpenOffice.org 3.x |
| dmshiff | OO "check for updates" says my OO-320 is up to date, but Secunia doesn't agree. |

"About" tells me that my OpenOffice installation is 3.2.0, specifically OOO320m12, (Build:9483). Also, "Check for Updates" indicates that the program is "Up to Date". But Secunia indicates that I need to update the program with the following: http://openoffice.mirrors.tds.net/pub/openoffice/s... I have downloaded the (149 mb) "update" but not yet installed it. The downloaded file does NOT identify the "build" level. What is my proper course of action? ADDITIONAL INFO: The link above truncates the detailed name of the update file, which is: OOo_3.2.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_en-US.exe. Is the problem that Secunia indicates related to JRE or a JRE component or add-on, rather than to OOo 3.2.0 itself? I saw that JRE does have at least one recent problem. |

@dmshiff , I have the same version you describe and it is showing as 3.2.9476.500 and up to date in the patched tab of PSI in "advanced" mode and installed in C:\Program Files\... Where is your version showing :ie: "tab" and "installation path" ?? Have you seen this ?? :- http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/433...
