I created an ignore rule for the folder

"D:\FRA Store-N-Go USB-stik\Software\File Monitor som virker på Vista"

and could not understand why it didn't work.

Then I got the thought that it might be the Danish letter "å", so I changed the rule to

"D:\FRA Store-N-Go USB-stik\Software\"

and immediately the rule worked fine.

So, my conclusion is that there may be a problem in PSI recognizing Danish letters in file paths in ignore rules.

Hi

Thank you for the feedback

We are aware of the issue where special characters in the path will cause the ignore rule to not working as intended.

Characters such as "ÆØÅ" and "+" and similar characters should, if possible, be left out when creating the ignore rules.

This is of cause very annoying and we hope to fix this in a future release.

Thanks for the feedback! :-) Good that you are aware of the problem.

Is there a joker character (a "match all" character, like "." in regular expressions) that can be used instead of the special characters?

The ignore rules does unfortunately not have a feature like this.
