I need to delete Secunia and reinstall since I cannot get any updates. When I try to obtain the updates I get the message that an error occured when trying to access URL. However, my system cannot delete it since Secunia is running. It tells me to close the system by right clicking the icon in the system notification area and then clicking exit. But I cannot find the system notification area. I want to delete it and then reinstall to see if that corrects the error message I am getting. Can anyone help with the information I have supplied? Thank you! Wallace

Press CRTL+ALT+DEL(ETE) which will bring up the task manager. Find Secunia PSI in the processes & stop it.

Hi wwavla

The notification area is lower right side of your screen
near the clock. The red Secunia chevron may be 'hidden'.
Just click the arrow to show all the hidden icons then
proceed as instructed to exit the PSI.

Hope this helps.

Regards, wr
