PSI confuses Google Chrome Frame (current version 5.0.375.62) with Google Chrome. PSI gives the path:

C:\Programmer\Google\Chrome Frame\Application\5.0.375.62\chrome.dll

This is done even if Google Chrome 5.0.375.70 is already installed. PSI will detect that installation, in this case with the path:

C:\Documents and Settings\Pia Buesdottir\Lokale indstillinger\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\5.0.375.70\chrome.d ll

If Google Chrome Frame is installed, PSI requests an update to Google Chrome 5.0.375.70. Patching using the link given by PSI installes Google Chrome, which of cause makes no change to the state of Google Chrome Frame.

The only way to get PSI to stop complaining about an insecure Google Chrome is to uninstall Google Chrome Frame.

Hello.
Google Chrome Frame is the plug-in which allows some facilities within Internet Explorer ? There seems to be no reference to it in the Programs list. Tho' it may take a little while; it may be as well to suggest it for monitoring....option available at the bottom of the Patched tab page.
You might also try setting out your observations by e mailing Secunia Support.
Thinking as I write.....does it show up in the Secure Browser tab ?

Regards

Hi

I've made some changes to our rules so Google Frame is not detected as Google Chrome.

Google Frame will not be shown in the PSI yet as it is still in beta.
