PSI indicates iTunes 9.x vulnerable and needs update to 9.2. Download to Desktop indicates Publisher not recognized. When I try to run the app. I get this:
C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\Desktop\iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application. Tried the Apple Forums and find that many other problems are being encountered with 9.2 but not this one. I've made 3 attempts all with same result. Any help?

Also look at the Secunia News Item (on the right) "DEP / ASLR Neglected in Popular Programs"

It's far too technical for me but all the programs we see written about in PSI (by members with problems) are listed there - including I-Tunes.

I'm sure a technical guy will reply soon, Bolshan, to your problem.

This indicates a download error.

Apple suggest deleting Temporary Internet Files:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1406

To cover everything, delete the file from your desktop, use Disk Cleanup to delete Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files.

Update

Be sure to click on the Internet Explorer 8 option in the Apple article. There is information there regarding what to do if the above steps fail.
