After having updated Firefox to newest version twice I continue to get security warnings? Firefox is a default installation. NK |

Where are U getting the warning from? Is it under the SECURE BROWSING tab and covered by the caveat INSECURE NO SOLUTION with an SA number? -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

Yes, under UNSAFE tab PSI reports my Firefox version as 3.6.3 - although it is now updated to 3.6.6. NK |

NK, Can U be a little more precise. There is no UNSAFE tab with PSI. Can U see this entry under the tab SECURE BROWSING? Next to the Firefox entry is there some writing in blue that says "INSECURE NO SOLUTION"? -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

Hi Niels I think there may be a confusion in the translation of terms/words between Danish and English. Is the old version of Ff. (3.6.3) showing under your "Usikkert" tab - which is shown as "Insecure" in English (and not "Unsafe"; although implied meaning is the same)? If it is under the "Sikker Browsing" (Secure Browsing) tab, then the following would be shown: "Usikker, ingen løsning" (Insecure, no solution), to the right of the listing for Mozilla Firefox 3.6.x. I suspect that it is showing in the Usikkert/Insecure tab, and the old version was not removed/overinstalled with update 3.6.6, which PSI is finding and correctly flagging as insecure. I hope this may help to clarify any confusion. TiMow -- Computing is not yet a perfect science - it still requires humans. |

I have experienced similar problems. Secunia doesn't appear to recognise that 3.6.6 exists, and insists on 3.6.4 AOD |

@AOD , The reason the PSI sees/offers Ff as version 3.6.4. rather than 3.6.6. is explained in this thread :- http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/467... Take care Anthony -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |
