I am having a problem with scan / threat fix solutions re JAVA. The scan identifies 'Sun Java JRE 1.6.x/6.x' . It will list this "threat" 3 - 4 times post scan. I select the solution buttion and it goes thru the same steps for each of the 3-4 identical threats which disappear, only to show-up on later scans. I an getting quite tired of this as obviously Seunia's recommended "solutions" are not working. This is leading me towards deleting Secunia as it appears to not work correctly in my case.
Any help resolving this would be most apprecaited.

@psnomis ,

I suggest you try Maurice Joyce's tried and tested method(s) in in his first post to this thread ; if you have no success post back here the installation paths and "tab" location of the "insecure" versions (see later post by MJ for required method) :-

Getting rid of the Secunia PSI will not make the risk - if it exists - go away ; but that remains your choice .

I can't remember a Java problem that hasn't been "solved" here by somebody on the Forum :))

Take care
Anthony
