bobpilch error 1612 - DL problem

I cannot DL Adobe produts due to an error code of 1612. Says that the installation source not available. Adobe's help areas are of no help for this error code. If anyone has a solution, I would be grateful

You may want to check out the Adobe link. Adobe
lists at least 5 scenarios with solutions to each of them.

EDIT: Error 1714/1612 seem to be about the same problem.

The solution you will most likely end up with, if the others are not appropriate for your situation, is using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Unfortunately, when you follow the link to the Microsoft article, you will find that Microsoft have withdrawn it.

You can find it on some third party download sites, like this:
