I have upgraded to Thunderbird 3.1.1 and PSI still shows I have threat from 3.0.x. I have tried the various fixes on this forum. It appears PSI has a bad check for Thunderbird. |

According to this: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird/ version 3.0.0 is the current release & U have installed a Pre Release version of 3.1.1 Secunia does not track this type of programme - details here: http://secunia.com/products/consumer/PSI/faq/#q7 There are no advisories I can see that affect V 3. Are U sure it is registered under the INSECURE tab? Edit: I note that Secunia may well have version 3.1 registered on their database but still interested to know where V 3 is showing in PSI. -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

Version 3.1.1 is a full release and version 3.0.x is fully supported . Here is the latest Advisory :- http://secunia.com/advisories/40642/ Hope this helps clarify . Anthony PS : Mozilla give this advice about installing v 3.1 :- ""Please note that installing Thunderbird 3.1 may overwrite your existing installation of Thunderbird on Linux. Windows and Mac OS X will install to different locations, however it is recommended that you check the messages during installation. For all systems, you won't lose any of your messages or address books, but some of your extensions and other add-ons might not work until updates for them are made available. Users are highly encouraged to install Thunderbird 3.1 in another folder (on Windows, this is done using Custom Install) and backup their profiles before testing Thunderbird 3.1."" -- It always seems impossible until its done. | Hi, Version 3.1.1 is the latest secure version of Thunderbird 3.1.x. If you rescan your system, you should be shown as Secure. |
