Is PSI 2.0 TP still reliant on Adobe Flash for IE in the Overview ? It would seem not, as I have uninstalled it....prompted firstly by Anthony's mention of an update, and then the realization that I didn't really need it, as it's now integral in Chrome. I was still thinking that I'd have to install for IE...but all is working fine. And that's with Dev Chrome as Default. Have I missed a post somewhere ?

Hi,

Yes, the PSI does indeed still rely on Flash to show the shiny parts of the overview. While it works fine without, those parts rely on flash. If you want to keep your animated overview, you will need to reinstall the IE version.

I'd guess that the reason it's still showing after the uninstall is a remaining dll somewhere. Try reloading the PSI or rebooting.

hope this helps.

I'd rebooted and tried the Overview, which was still working, but with no insecurity showing.....decided to rescan....found the answer: in the interim time lapse TP had auto downloaded the new Flash !
Thanks for the reply/attention Emil....for a moment or two there...thought Id struck it lucky !!!
