Just installed the latest version of SRWare Iron (5.0.381) and learned the program does not check for updates itself.
Would it be possible to add this browser to the list of programs Secunia PSI checks?

Might be better if U make a suggestion to Secunia.

SUGGESTING A NEW PROGRAMME TO SECUNIA
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

1. Open the PATCHED or SECURE BROWSING tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom where U will see a link in blue ink "Program Missing? Suggest It Here!"
3. Click the link & then fill out the details in the boxes that appear(the important bit is the FILE SELECTION).
4.Click Suggest Program.

Secunia do not normally respond to any request for programme inclusion nor do they accept programmes in Beta.

This problem has already been raised in a different fashion by @tgmct in his thread here :-

http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/497...

The problems may be :-

1)version 5 may not show if it is not a security update to 4 , so the "new" one needs suggesting to Secunia as per Maurice Joyce's advice .

2)The new 5 version may not show in the PSI "secure browsing" tab ; you may need to follow that up .

Just to be clear the PSI only checks for "vulnerabilities" and not for bug or eye candy fixes .

Hope this helps .

Anthony
