My time of day is 5:34PM in Portland, Oregan area, United States of America. It is not listed in your Profile times so I picked America/Los Angeles. They are the same time as here. Yet the forum post I made showed the time as 22nd Aug, 2010 02:34 - that's 2:34AM. You are way off on getting time zones wrong

Hello tacoslammer ,

The time you are seeing is CET time :ie: +9 hours to your PDT .

I'm on CET and your post is corrected to CET for me , but I was not aware of it being "not corrected" to PDT for you ; I have heard that the weekly auto scan by PSI is one week +/- corrected time to suit Secunia servers .

Maybe a kindly reader not in the CET will post and let you/I know if what you see is normal/correct .

Does your location setting correspond between your profile set in the PSI tab and your profile set here when logged-on to the website ??

Hope this will help .

Anthony

Anthony--- Thanks. I had not even set the profile on my PC. I don't know why that would make any difference if you are logged into the Forum and the Forum profile is set properly.

BTW: What/where is CET?

Still off after resetting all profiles to same zone. Forum says 15:49 and it is 0649 here!

CET is Central European Time (currently Summertime version) as in Western mainland Europe (excluding Portugal) ; it contains Denmark where Secunia are located - Copenhagen , if you want to visit them (see the bottom of this page) :-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_European_Time

Having both profiles set is usual (I'm told) , don't know if it makes any difference , so was asking/suggesting to make sure .

We'll have to wait for a friendly 3rd time zone to wake up .

Anthony

PS : you're late , I get your post recorded at 15.51.

You 'hit the nail squarely on the head' Anthony, all time shown by Secunia is CET. Anyone can check this by looking at the scheduled scan info. For instance in my info the last scan was on 19 Aug 2010 01:09--next scheduled (weekly automatic) is for 26 Aug 2010 07:09--7 days + 6 hrs.--I'm in EDST.

Hope this helps.

Regards, wr

PS It's weird for me to join the Forum after 6pm local & see all posts (although recent) dated as 'yesterday'.

Regards, wr

Thanks guys. WR that helps to know that Secunia doesn't change time zones to be relevant to your local time. Seems most other Forums correct to your local time zone.

What should I say: "Have a bloody good day." Or just have a good one.

Anyway, thanks again. Stay cool in the good ole summertime!
