Google says I have the latest update (5.0.375.127) but Secunia PSI Scan (with several restarts) keeps saying Google Chrome needs to be updated as a Level 4 threat. So why won't Secunia recognize that I DO have the latest version? |

Hello. This reply may not be strictly relevant to the original question; tho' it may be worth noting for your future reference, at this juncture. PSI 2.0 TP ( and other versions psi ) don't monitor Beta nor Dev versions of Chrome....nor the Canary build. As and when they update, I've got into the habit of deleting the older version/file manually. I've also decided to manage without Flash in psi and IE8, but use Chrome dev as my default browser. As Flash is integral in Chrome versions, I don't seem to be handicapped ! IE8 tho',( fully updated ) shows as secure for browsing. -- |

From the advice I just went to the Programs Folder in MY COMPUTER and deleted the old version folder of Google Chrome. Secunia PSI is now fine with Google - thanks. | ||||||||
