Where can I obtain/download PSI for Windows 7?
The readme in the available PSI installer (1.5.0.2) does not mention Windows 7
Supported Operating Systems:
* Microsoft Windows XP
* Microsoft Windows 2003
* Microsoft Windows 2000
* Microsoft Windows Vista

Anthony,
thank you for the link.
I was concerned when I read the readme file and was lead to believe I had the wrong version.
I guess (?) it is reassuring to know that secunia just distributes out of date material as part of the installer.

Yes , no one is perfect (except me of course :)) .

I'm sure that Secunia will appreciate you pointing this out and will update (at least) for their next offering .

I hope they pick up on this thread when they get back to work on the PSI on Monday !

Take care

Anthony

PS : The link I provided is from the column on the left hand side of the download page of this website ; where was/is the "read me" you found ?? You say installer , do you mean the "Read Me" file installed in the Program Files folder ??

Hi Anthony,

Just got in and checking in with what's what.

As I know the answer to your last Q., I'll jump in.

There's a readme as part of the psi setup.exe download, found at the normal file location (at least with v.1..5.0.2):

C:\Program Files\Secunia\PSI

Regards

TiMow

EDIT: You've just edited as I was typing - oh well, never mind.

Hello TiMow ,

Are we back to "fools rush in, etc" ?:))))))

Editing at half time Tri-Nations ; just wanted to know if there was a third location I might have missed in theactual installer (cannot see one) .

Give youself a 1/2 thumb :)

Hi @7vj ,

Don't mind us ; where did your file appear ??

Back to the Rugby :)))))

Anthony

Anthony,
in installer, after accepting license agreement, the readme information comes up.
halfway down is the Requirements section.
that is where win 7 was not present.

Thanks @7vj and TiMow ,

Rugby has finished ; great test match :))

I guess that they will be the same two files that then get loaded and show up in the Program Files with the same incomplete info .

Just shows what reading the EULA's and other install files can show you .

Thanks for your update .

take care

Anthony

You're supposed to actually read the readme.txt and/or instructions?!
