After my Secunia scan ran this time, I swear a warning popped up saying to remove MagicJack (it was not running, and I don't keep it "ON/Connected"). My scan report did not refer to it - wondering what it was (the warning) and why?

Incidentally, I most always received 100% (I just achieved a perfect 100% Secunia System Score . . . etc).

Any comments out there?

Hi wheelingon;

Welcome to the Secunia forum.

> Does MagicJack install software (a driver, perhaps)?
> If so, does MagicJack appear in PSI's "Insecure", "End-of-Life" or "Patched" tab?
> PSI reports software (only) as vulnerable or secure. It does not make suggestions to remove or keep them. That would be for you to decide.
> Perform another PSI scan to see if this can be repeated. If so, attempt to learn what is displaying this warning. (Windows, MagicJack, etc.)

Not much info here: http://www.magicjack.com/6/index.asp Pretty much just an advert.

BTW, your User Score & Location are being displayed.

Regards;

Fred

Thank you - I did run another scan and the notice did not pop up; it was from my systray the first and only time. Also, I changed my Profile to post my score as the other poster suggested. Danka, all.
