Since I ran I ran the last versin that I had of that ran of Secunia PSI on my PC with Windows XP Pro SP3. No upgrade version or Beta version will run. The links in the forum to a version 1.9 don't work and I have tried uninstalling and restarting my PC after each download and install eventhough restarting is not required in this case and I have got the same results that others get. When I click on the icon a quick popup apperars and disappears on the desktop, and when my curses approaches the icon in the taskbar it disappears. If anyone knows how to fix this or has links to a known older version with no issues please respond. -- Windows XP Pro SP3 |

The older working versionyou probably require is 1.5.0.1 ; here is the link from the thread :- ftp://ftp.secunia.com/PSISetup1501.exe If you scroll through the thread you will find workarounds for getting the latest 2.0 Beta to work (possibly) if that interests you .
