Every time i open PSI the auto updates option is unchecked and will not stay checked. Does anybody know why its doing this?

Hi,

We fixed some minor issues that could possibly be connected to this issue in our latest revision. Please restart you PSI. Is the issue still reproduceable after restarting?

hope this helps.

Yeah its still doing it. Is unchecking the boxes and checking them the way to view the results though? That may be what its doing when i unchecked and checked the different boxes it would bring up the different results from each box.

Hi,

Please ensure that all your settings in Internet Explorer corrospond to those described in this item of our FAQ: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal...

Then, please restart the PSI.

Any suggestion? Is that just the way you view each column by unchecking or checking it?

Hi,

Could I ask to to provide us with a debug log? To do this, please close the PSI (By right-clicking the Tray Icon and selecting "Exit"), and follow the below instructions.

First, type "cmd", either in the Start > Run box (For XP), or directly in the start menu search bar (For Vista and Win7). Then, enter the following commands, while preserving the quotes.
cd "%ProgramFiles%\Secunia\PSI"
psi.exe --verbose --debug secunia.txt

The PSI will now run in debug mode. Please check the settings in question, wait 2 minuttes, and uncheck them again. A file will have been created in %ProgramFiles%\Secunia\PSI, called "secunia.txt". If you can email this file to us at support@secunia.com, we will be able to look more closely into the problem.
Please do not post any of the debug log here, as it contains information sensitive to you and your user account.

Hi,

The PSI only runs in debug mode if you explicitively tell it to do so. If you simply close the PSI and run it as normal, it will not run in debug mode.

And yea, you can delete file once you've send it. :-)

Thank you for your help in debugging this issue!
