A vulnerability has been reported in Google Chrome, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system. The vulnerability is caused due to the application bundling a vulnerable version of the Flash plugin. For more information: SA41434 The vulnerability is reported in version 6.0.472.55. Other versions may also be affected. |

I don't understand. I've got the latest version of Google Chrome (6.0.472.62) and PSI is detecting it as not patched. | ||||||||

This section of the forum is used for discussion directly related to the original Secunia Advisory. Please use the other sections in the future. Are you sure psi is not detecting the older Chrome file left over after updating (?)...it has to be removed manually. It continues to detect items even if they are still in the Recycle bin. Have you checked information in both the Patched and Insecure tabs ? -- |
