Interesting that this thread:

.. is locked, instead of leaving it open as a vote forum to see who likes the new UI vs. dislikes.

I dislike having to double-click at all -- and I especially dislike the double-click being on such an unintuitive place as an unadorned text line -- to see the details of a program. I much prefer the PSI v1.5 UI of having the row of action icons at the bottom of the expanded view of the program. Please return to that previous UI design. You can keep the new look&feel, but please reduce the number of pop-ups, windows, extra clicks, etc. The very small extra bit of apparent UI cleanliness that the new interface produces is not justified by the increased user workload it imposes. There is a very bad trend in UIs (I just saw it recently on IMDB.com for example) to show less and click more. Facebook is terribly guilty of this for example. Users should not be put through more steps to get to the same data, particularly not when all that is being "saved" on a page *where the user has already explicitly asked for full details by expanding the inidividual program item from the results list* is one line of action icons.

Hi,

We usually lock threads when the issue they concern is resolved. Furthermore, the voting feature is not meant to express approval/disapproval - it is meant to indicate whether or not a post is relevant to the topic, so fx. spam posts, or the general nonsense that always gets posted to public forums won't clutter up the threads.

I will ensure that your feedback concerning the PSI 2.0 User Interface gets forwarded to our developers.
Thank you for your feedback.
