On running scan, PSI keeps self aborting at 93%. Why?

Hi Slami.

This has been reported before, once following many Microsoft updates.

So that we can help you, please tell us what version of Secunia are you using. It's shown in the bottom-right of the main Secunia screen.

Also, it will help when you reply if you tell us what PC/operating system etc you have, as I have done in my signature.
