Secunia continues to detect that I have a version of AIR that is a cat 5 threat. I have version 1.5.3.9130 and am trying to update using the "solution" link. The AIR installer opens, offers ver 2.0.4.13090, and I run it. I accept the license agreement, it begins to install, and then I get an error message that says "Sorry, an error has occurred. An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." I am the admin on my computer. I tried to delete AIR in add/remove programs, but computer won't let me do that either. Deleted entire Adobe folder in Program files and reinstalled, but still no luck. Please help. Thanks!

Your only hope now is to use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.

You can download it from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-clean...

This is a confusing webpage with several adverts with Download buttons. Make sure that you only click the download button for the utility (add to download basket).
