|Ran the scan....out of product life support detects adobe reader 5.x. Went to remove it from add/remove programs but it is not listed. Found a registry key with it and deleted it....ran scan again...adobe accrobat reader 5.x detected again. Site suggests to patch...adobe reader 9....downloaded.....already installed so can not reinstall. Remove adobe reader 9.....scan again...reader 5.x detected...tried to patch....installed reader 9. Scan again.....reader 5.x detected. Suggestions?|

Welcome to the Secunia forum.
Is this in the C:\Window\system32\Macromed folder? If so try the following.
> In PSI click on the [+] to the left of the program, click on the Open Folder icon.
> Be sure that only old files are in that folder (should be true), then delete that folder.
> Reboot (not Restart) and do a manual Full Scan with PSI.
Does this solve the problem?

|No is not macromed....it is adobe acrobat 5.x. I used some of your advise and found the full version of acrobat inside a downloaded program. I deleted it and ran the scan again...100% safe. Thanks, SAM.|
