Hi.

I am posting this from a related thread.

The PSI 1.5.x does not detect Acronis True Image 2011 Home or the True Image Home Plus Pack 2011.

If Secunia could please advise, I would appreciate it. :0)

This program does not seem to be in the Secunia database yet.

You can speed up the process by using the Program Missing? Suggest it here! feature.

I think Emil has asked U to submit a suggestion already. Have U done that using this method?

SUGGESTING A NEW PROGRAMME TO SECUNIA

{b] ALL PSI VERSIONS EXCEPT V2 BETA)[/b]

1. Open the PATCHED or SECURE BROWSING tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom where U will see a link in blue ink "Program Missing? Suggest It Here!"
3. Click the link & then fill out the details in the boxes that appear(the important bit is the FILE SELECTION).
4.Click Suggest Program.

Secunia do not normally respond to any request for programme inclusion nor do they accept programmes in Beta.

VERSION 2 (BETA)

1. From the DASHBOARD page click on RESULTS.
2. On the RESULTS page look above the tab INSTALL SOLUTION & U will see ARE YOU MISSING A PROGRAM?
3. Click it. Fill out the details requested.
4. Click SUGGEST SOFTWARE.

Secunia do not accept programmes in Beta.

It can take some time.

Update 2 20:13 10/10/2010

OK - It can take some time as I stated before. Perhaps Secunia will respond as per your request.

Hi

Acronis True Image 2011 14.x has been added to our database and should be detected by the Secunia PSI after a rescan.

I've not seen a suggestion on the Acronis True Image 2011 Plus Pack, so it has not been added yet.

Hi M. Hansen:

"I've not seen a suggestion on the Acronis True Image 2011 Plus Pack, so it has not been added yet."

I have submitted the suggestion yesterday and have just submitted again, via the PSI.

However, I am unsure of the .exe for this program as it integrates into TIH 2011. This merits investigation.

Compumind :0)

Hi again

I can see we got a suggestion for the Plus Pack now.

Unfortunately it's rtf. file which is not suited for detection.
(it contains no file information)

Hi M. Hansen:

I thought you would say that, lol! :0))

Actually, it's not a biggie, so no worries.

Compumind.
