PSI 1.0.0.1 states that Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.x 10.1.5.5000 is "insecure" but my University recommends this version for Windows XP, not the next version, which you mark as safe(safer?).I can download the next version but the University does not recommend it. Would someone comment on just how unsafe this is? |

Using the advanced interface of the PSI you can click on the program to "expand" it and see the Toolbox. If you click the button Online References you have direct links to the Secunia Advisories regarding the relevant product. That way you get all the available information we have regarding the program, any vulnerabilities it might have, and how serious they are. Or you can simply search through the advisories on our website. Hi David. Do not download anything from Symantec. It is a dangerous software program. I know, I use to have their antivirus scanner & I caught all kinds of Trojans & dialers. Try going to this web site. It's www.brothersoft.com. There, you will find over 60,000 free software programs to read about & download for free if you find what your looking for.
